Unhappy Hamster nosebleed after falling

Hi! I'm new here and this is a post that I read some time ago but this happened to mee last night.

I was cleaning the cage where I keep Thunder and I usually allow him to run free through my table as I control him but I was speaking with my mom and he fell from a 3-4 feet height, I know it is my fault and it wont happen again.

When he fell he stayed still for 2-3 seconds and then I took him with my hands and he left a small nosebleed (I assume it came from the nose as mouth and teeth where OK) in my hands that lasted 5 seconds at most.

I had him in observation and I called a friend (vet) that said that as long as he eats and behaves normally I should not worry, but today I woke up to find him making a clicking noise while breathing so I decided to use thyme tea with a syringe (with dry pieces of leaves) to desinfect and now he's constantly scratching his nose (this was 2 hours ago, now he's come out, ate, climbed to his favorite spot and I notice he's a bit accelerated).

This is the first time I use thyme tea, is it normal he is scratching his nose? Should I pay a visit to the vet? He hasn't used the wheel since yesterday but I saw him chewing a toy.

You need to see a vet as it sounds as if he has damaged his nose or jaw when he fell. It could be a broken tooth or jaw, or soft tissue damage. It's not normal to be scratching his nose so it is obviously painful or irritated. Get him seen as a matter of urgency. Hopefull the vet will say it is a bruise and will take time to heal but I would be having this checked in case the damage is worse.
Good luck and hope he is ok.
