It's certainly not been an easy process as the eggs for the particular mites we had, live in bedding so the entire room that they live in had to be cleaned thoroughly to make sure that there weren't any eggs on the furnishings. Thankfully I only found evidence of mites in the cages of the five Chinese and two of them only had one or two. The Robo cages seemed to be unaffected but they had to be treated anyway as they live near enough to the Chinese cages for them to have spread.
