hamster awake during day

Hi everyone i have a 6 month old female hamster called clover and i have a question - during the day clover is constantly awake like not to go get a drink she will run around jump up and go on her wheel at like 11 am and i try leave her alone and don’t go in the room she is in in case it is encouraging her but she is still awake and running around i’m not too sure why this ? i always let her out at night for like an hour to run around a big space and her cage is fine , is there something i’m doing wrong? please help !!!

Hello,

If she seems happy, not in pain or distressed, if she’s eating and drinking etc. I wouldn’t worry. Some hamsters are less nocturnal than others.

I wouldn't worry if she's happy. We have daytime hamsters and i let them out to run around during the day.

Sometimes hamsters wake up much earlier than other hamsters it just depends on the hamster itself, if the hamster seems fine and healthy then you don't have to worry.

My hamsters would wake up during the day when im around and climb like monkeys and run around for hours, then nap it out, then wake up later in the evening to continue the mission, it happens.
