Unhappy Sick Hamster? pls help

I’ve had my winter white for not even a whole year yet. we haven’t had any problems so far but today i noticed he was not nearly as active as he even was two days ago. he had stayed in kind of the same spot on top of his bedding and wasn’t moving. i kind of nudged him with my finger and he didn’t react super quickly. when he started moving he was super shaky and wobbly and seemed so weak. his year were kind of gunked over and shut right but he eventually started opening them a little. he couldn’t even hold himself up to drink water or eat but would not let me hold him when i got him out. he just kept shaking and tried to bite me and was unusually mean. he also feels super skinny and he seems hunched back, which is completely different from how he was three days ago. his tail doesn’t seem wet but i have no clue what to do. my vets aren’t open this late and i don’t think they’ll be open this weekend.
he’s my first hamster i have no clue what to do please help so cheeks doesn’t die

The only person who can help him is a vet and i would see one asap because your hamster seems to be ill and most likely in pain, going by his responses.

If you phone your vet's number they will give you the number of an emergency vet, if not then i would advise you to phone around until you find one.

Vets do have an emergency out of hours service.

I can only echo what ria has said. You need to get your ham to a vet ASAP. They can go downhill very quickly. I hope he is ok once he has the right treatment x

thank you guys for taking the time to answer. unfortunately I wasn’t able to get Cheeks to a vet in time and he passed around 5pm, less than 24 hours after he even got bad. I have no clue what could’ve happened to make him deteriorate so quickly. i hope he wasn’t in too much pain when he passed or anything. i tried to make him comfortable. my sweet boy

I am so sorry to hear that cheeks passed away. As they are so little they can deteriorate very quickly and sometimes we never know what happened to them. Play well at the bridge little cheeks - he will know he was loved x
