Question Dwarf hamster with symmetrical bald patchs

Hello! This is my first time posting here so I'm sorry if I make some mistakes.

I have a female winter white hamster named Tofu, and I've noticed recently that she has two symmetrical patches with less fur on her hindquarters. (It's not completely bald - it just looks like there is less fur there) The patches are small and not easily noticeable as well. I haven't weighted her, but she looks like she's lost weight - she looked a little overweight before, but she looks about normal to skinny now. Tofu's only about 4 months old, so it's not a sign of old age. Could it be kidney problems? Her behavior hasn't changed so I'm not sure if she's sick or not, but I got very worried after doing some research. Has anyone else had this happen to their hamsters?

Hello! I might be wrong but it seems like you’re describing her scent glands. Hamsters have one on each side, quite small, noticeable because there is no fur.

Hi and welcome to HC!

I'd weigh her and then weigh her again in a week to see if she's losing weight or not. If she's losing weight for no obvious reason or shows signs of being unwell i'd ask a vet for advice.
Is she eating and drinking ok? Does her water bottle work? Are her teeth ok?
