Default Scratching and hairloss

Evening all

I've noticed my 1 year old Syrian has been scratching and has lost some hair underneath her chin. I've enquired about an appointment at my vets and am waiting to hear back (as they close at 4pm on Sundays) but in the meantime I thought I would ask on here to see if anyone had any idea what it might be.

All I can think is that I took her with me to my parents house for around 2 weeks for Christmas so there might have been something atmospheric in their house she was alergic to. I haven't changed the bedding I use or what I feed her. I thought mites but her skin doesn't look red as I would expect.

I'm back home and her cage is back in her regular spot now. She seems to be eating and drinking fine and she seems alright in herself, but it isn't normal so of course I'm worried.

I will weigh her when I can but she's in her house right now and I don't want to disturb her.

Honestly, I don't know why I keep pets! I spend 90% of my time worrying about them! If anyone has any ideas of what it might be I would be very grateful.

Edited to say: I just weighed her and she's 250g, she has lost some weight. Now I'm even more worried. It could be that both issues are stress related due to taking her to my parents' house. When I got there it took her a few days to settle but then she was normal, and since we got back she's been her usual self.

Maybe its caused by the stress of moving but i really don't know. They seem to groom and scratch more when things aren't what they're used to.
Could she have rubbed herself somewhere or was she bar chewing? Does she scratch excessively anywhere else or only under her chin?
