Hamster peeing and sleeping in burrow

I just got my new hamster last week and is it bad to kinda ruin ]my hamsters burrow to clean out its pee cuz it peed ALL OVER the burrow and pooped too

This is all perfectly normal, especially when new. They need to scent mark to feel comfortable so it is best to leave off any kind of cleaning for at least 2 weeks.

You can encourage your hamster to wee in a jar on its side with some litter in, thye usually pick a corner as they establish themselves
