Default Re: Syrian Hamster on 3 medications- doesn't like the taste: any tips?

Thank you all so much for the advice. Over the last week I have managed to successfully give Harold his eye drops and Ive put all of his medication on his favourite seeds! It seems to have done the trick as his eye is no longer red and sticky and the swelling appears to have come down a lot! Im going to the vets tomorrow with my fingers crossed that it has worked!

I'm a bit late to the party with this but just putting this suggestion out there too - Dora wouldn't take her metacam so I defrosted a cooked pea, punctured the shell just a little and squeezed out one half of the pea itself. Fiddly but worth it! Then syringed in the medicine. Poor Dora fell for it every time as she loved peas and - voila! medicine taken!
