You've had such a worrying time with Twinkle, such a shock for him and for you, these things happen and the aftercare you've given him is truly wonderful and if it had been me I'd have done exactly the same. No more feeling guilty, anyone can see how much you love your little boy who's absolutely gorgeous.

Aww Thin Lizzy thank you so much, that means a lot to me. I do love him to pieces, and yes I will try to stop feeling guilty.

Twinkle knows how much you love him and he's very lucky to have you.

Just thought I would give you all a quick Twinkle update.
I finally got his weight back up to his pre accident weight. Took some doing, but we got there.

The squeaking that he did whenever I seemed to go near his cage and he was in his bed (he couldn't see me but heard me) seems to have calmed down a lot, I would say 90% stopped.

He is still more vocal when he is out and about and if he picks up on Stars scent or hears the wild hedgehogs outside he makes squeaky noisies.

Anyway here is a recent pic of my little fluff ball.

So glad to hear that the lovely Twinkle is getting back to his normal self. He's probably forgotten about his accident and you must try and put it behind you as well Luna, then look forward to a bright future with Twinkle and Star.

Ria, I don't think I will ever forget it but I think we have both pretty much moved on. Just enjoying free roaming with him.

and yes Star is still plodding on.

They both got a very rare treat tonight, I had dehydrated some mango fruit rollups - 100% mango - and left a tiny piece each for them both. Star loved hers, Twinkle was more interested in just getting out of his cage

Wonderful news that Twinkle is back to his pre-accident weight! No doubt due to the very dedicated love and care he has received.
