Exclamation I need help

So I should have done this post earlier, but I'm doing it now because i'm worried. So a month ago I was playing with my hamster and I took her in the bathroom with me (stupid me ughhh) and she fell in the sink but I was able to dry her off. She seems healthy now but I'm still scared since I know hamsters can hide symptoms if they're sick.. Please help, can I do anything to help her?

If it was a month ago and she is fine now then I wouldn't worry

Like Serendipity says if it was a month ago I don't think you have anything to worry about. Yes hamsters can hide illnesses but I think you would know within a month if something was wrong with your hamster. Also if it helps, in the 80's my friend used to wash her long haired hamster and it lived for a long time. I really don't know why she did this but it survived.

I'm sure if she is walking ok and eating then she's fine. Learn from your mistake but don't beat yourself up about it.

Huh! Reminds me of the time i stupidly thought that the bathroom is ideal for free roaming until i watched my hamster pancake horizontally behind the sink.

You are not alone in doing stupid things so don't worry because your hamster is fine and so was mine.

Unhappy I’m worried about my hammy...

My little Amanda is a Syrian hamster and I’ve had her for about 4 months, recently her ears have been folded back and I’ve been really worried about it, in the past day or two she’s seemed to lose her balance as well, her posture is more hunched up than usual and it is really starting to concern me. If anyone can tell me anything that would be great, I’m just so worried about her. She also seems to be doing Somersaults around her cage. I don’t know if this bit of information will help but she’s a big climber, she does occasionally fall but she’s been falling even more in these past few days...thanks in advance to anyone who can help me...

Sorry I think you accidentally replied to my post instead of making a new one.. If a hamster is doing somersaults, that is a sign that something is wrong. I would say you should take her to the vet..

Thank you to everyone who replied. She is doing quite well and she runs all the way across the cage in 5 seconds which is really fast since she lives in a detolf. I hope she is fine

Yeah I guess I did, so sorry about that, I’m hoping she can be treated for whatever is making her behave odd. Glad yours is feeling better though.
