Itchy hamster
I have a hamster who's around 10 months old and is itching himself SEVERELY for the past 3 days. Im so sad and terrified for him. I live in India and the vets here basically know 0-0.1% about hamsters
When i first got him as a baby he had flees cz of poor hygiene in his previous cage. So i took him to a vet who literally said go and exchange him for a different one i guess
Thankfully i found someone who helped me. But now
Due to quarantine , the vet i spoke to said to try changing his bedding and cleaning him gently with a wet sponge and blow drying him. And he said to tell him how it goes in 3 days
He doesn't have scaly dry skin .but it looks red and itchy
He seems to be a little less active than usual.
And some hair loss.not bald totally but its definitely thinner
Hes a fluffy syrian and
IM EXTREMELY WORRIED
If anyone can pleaaaaaase give me some advice
