Default scent glands

Hello! My syrian's (Larry) scent gland on his right side was looking a little wet? It's never really been wet/matted before, is this normal?

It's not unusual, he may just have been doing more scent marking than normal, has he had anything new or anything changed, cage cleaning or something that may have caused that?
Just keep an eye on it in case there's a problem but it's most likely nothing to worry about.

I don't think there's anything that would have caused it. I changed his bedding about a week ago, but he didn't have a wet scent gland until today.
