I think my hamster had a stroke
Hello all! It's about 5am and I heard a noise come from my hamster cage. It sounded like she fell or was scratching on her wheel. I go to her cage and she was on her side with her legs up and eyes open breathing heavily. Just about five minute before that she was running on her wheel just fine. I think that she possibly had a stroke. I un-done her wheel so she could get out since she was stuck. She was on her back for a while and struggled to get up but after 10 minutes she's back up wobbling around, slowly cleaning herself. And now she's sitting down on the side of the cage looking as if she's falling asleep. She keeps dozing off and on constantly. I feared this might be the end of her lifespan but I have no clue what happened. She hasn't had any serious drops and I'd say she's about 1 and a half years old. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If she pulls through the night I'll take her to the vet.
Thanks for your time!
