I saw that the eyes of my hamster were red. I asked at the pet shop and the guy told me to clean around them with water everyday. It has been 5 days. I am really worried. Should I take her to the vet at this point?
It is hard to see the photos but it does look as though your hams eyes may be inflamed, allergies are a possibility but eye infections are quite common & need to be treated by a vet.

I would definitely take your hamster to an exotic animal vet...they don't usually charge any more than a regular vet but they have specialised knowledge of rodents that other vets may not have. The vet will probably prescribe eyedrops.
My one hamster has had eye problems since day one and his vet advised me to wipe his eyes with a saline solution which you can make by adding 1/2 teaspoon of salt to a cup of boiled water. Allow to cool and wipe the hamster's eye from front to back with some soft cottonwool.
This isn't a replacement for a vet's advice but may help to fight any infection until you can get him to a vet.
