Default Hamster injury

Hello, my hamster rocksy who is a about 3 year old female Campbell dwarf hamster and I have noticed that around her ear it bleeds a lot and some of her ear is missing. Other then that she seems fine. She does not even seem to notice it’s there. Thanks you.

Is she in the same cage with any other hamsters?

If she's sharing a cage with another hamster I'm afraid to say that they've probably been fighting and they'll need to be split up ASAP.

She is not sharing a cage, I know not to do that, and I also took out all sharp objects and anything that could cause this. For 2 week every night on her ear & mouth where she bleeds, and losing the fleash of her ear where it’s bleeding, I clean with peroxide and put bacitracin. I went to the vet and they put municiprin. What is happening and what should I do to help my hamster. All replies are greatly appreciated.

Who told you to clean with peroxide and use bacitracin? I'm not familiar with either of those but did the vet instruct you to do that?

Hydrogen peroxide is no longer recommended for cleaning wounds, (i found this info on google)
Clinicians should avoid using bacitracin ointment for routine care or for cleaning surgical wounds. (still from google)

I don't know if this helps.

If it's still bleeding & not healing then you need to go back to the vet with her& find out what the problem is if there is an underlying problem & ask for their advice. I wouldn't recommend using anything other than saline for bathing wound meanwhile.

Update; I took my hamster foxy to the vet, it turned out that she got irritated around her ear, and over a few months schrached it away, leaving some dead skin and open blood, which made my hamster (2 & 1/2 years old) more irritated, witch led her to scratch off the hair around the ear. The vet removed what was left of the ear ( temporarily put her to sleep) then gave a shot to kill and infection he also detected on what was left of her ear. He also said he noticed a tumor by her bald spot where she removed her hair. The vet says that there is nothing he can do about the tumor, he did all he could, and that she was pretty old for a hamster anyway, and unfortunately probably has another 3 weeks- month left . Thanks for the help. We are also adding broccoli (we always gave her fresh food) & cabbage & parsley. I also put a very small dab of coconut oil on broccoli.
