Red face Helppppp my hamster fell and I don’t know what to do

Okay so this is my first thread on any forum so just bare with me.

Like 30 minutes ago, my hamster was on a table (90cm up) and she fell onto the wooden plank floor and looked dead for a few seconds, but when I picked her up, she sneezed a lot, but now she’s fine. She immediately drank some water and then ran on her wheel, and she looked fine, and I gave her some grape and she nibbled on it from my hand. The only thing worrying me is that she was sneezing A LOT (but it stopped after a few minutes) and that she was acting dead. I really hope she’s okay... please someone say she’s not going to die.

She’s 6 months old and a Syrian.

And now she’s in her house and trying to sleep. Please someone help!! ):

When a hamster gets a big fright or something sudden happens that really scares them, it is not uncommon for the hamster to appear to pass out for a few seconds or even a minute or two. This doesn't necessarily mean that she was actually injured but it is an indication that she got a very big fright from the fall.

I would monitor her for the next 24hrs but try not to handle her too much. Signs that she might have hurt herself include hunching over, not walking or walking with a limp, her ears being flat back on her head and not wanting to eat or drink. It is hard to see swellings as they obviously have fur but if you notice anything best to get her checked by an exotic animals vet.

She survived the night which is good, but when I woke her up to see if see was okay, she was stretching really weirdly, like she has something stuck? But her ears were up even in the day time?

Let's put it this way. If you where to fall from a height would you quickly get back up and start moving? I definitely wouldn't your ham is no different.

Keep an eye on her for the next couple of days. If you are still concerned just pop her to the vets for piece of mind, no harm in it.
