Unhappy Does my hamster have wet tail?

Hello all! I am new here and I’ve only had my hamster about a week. Yesterday I noticed she did not come out of her little house as she usually runs all night. She hasn’t been out on her own in 2 days or touched the food in her bowl. Her little butt is wet, but it’s hard to get a good look at it. I wanted to get opinions on some experienced hamster owners on what y’all think is going on. I’ll attach a couple photos I tried to get when she was in her wheel. Any advice will help! Thanks!

That doesn't look normal. I'd have her seen by a vet very quickly as time is of the essence with wet tail.

Agree with Souffle, that does not look normal, highly recommend getting her to the vets asap.

Little update: got her to a vet today and got her started on some critical care supplements. I am starting antibiotics tomorrow. Is there anything more I can do for her? She honestly doesn’t look too good, but I’m staying optimistic.

did they give her an injection as normally they need antibiotics right away. It's hard to get a baby hamster through this I'm afraid. She's likely not eating and you may need to syringe feed water and the critical care to keep her going poor wee mite. It's a horrible disease. Was the medicine by mouth or in the water as they don't take it if they said to put it in water I've found.

It was an injection, but sadly she didn’t make it. She passed last night in my hands ):

You tried your best for her. As I said very few make it through.
It is best not to get another hamster right away and not use the cage for a good few weeks as the bug can linger. It needs very good disinfection and left for a few weeks empty then clean again. You really need to throw away any wood or pourous items that cannot be soaked and also I would throw the water bottle and replace. Let the pet store know that your hamster had this. They should check their supplier and also the hammies in the store. I'm sorry for your loss of such a young life
