Re: Please help
I’m definitely not a pro, but that looks like it may be a prolapse, which must be treated by a vet (preferably a rodent-experienced one).
I hope all goes well with him!

Re: Please help
That is definitely not right and he sounds to be in some pain. You need to have him seen urgently by a vet. Some prolapses can be replaced however it depends on the damage so take the vets advice on what his prognosis would be.

Re: Please help
Agree that needs urgent attention. Vets usually have an emergency number for over the week-end. Google exotic vets in your area - they are no more expensive than a standard vet and know a lot more about hamsters. A good vet may pop the prolapse back and put a little stitch in possibly - but while it’s out it could end up being life threatening plus he will be in pain. Also the vet can examine him to see what the likely cause is. How old is he?
