Hair Loss and Scaley Skin

My Syrian hamster, Castiel, has just developed hair loss on the top of his head and behind his eye. Overall, his hair seems to be thinning, but he’s always had a thin coat, compared to my other Syrians. He’s also been the smallest and skinniest of my Syrians. I’ve always had a hard time putting weight on him. All over his body, his skin is scaley. He is almost two years old. His diet consists of a quality seed mix, lab blocks, a morning shared breakfast of cream of wheat with me, snd occasional mealworms, whimzees, spinach, and carrot.

So I’m concerned about the hair loss and scaley skin. His skin is not red and he’s not itching. Any ideas? I’ve tried to add pictures, but I keep on getting logged out.
