Biting and Energy

Hi all,

I have a female Russian Hamster, she is about 7 months old and a couple of months ago we got a male Russian Hamster, they live on different cages but I notice the female is with a bit more energy every 4 days or so, I think it is because she is on heat and she feels the male close, we usually give her more toys and more attention during the time she is like that, but recently she is being more energetic and now she is starting to bite us a lot, and also she is biting her plate and her wheel, is there anything I should do to make her less aggressive, or is this something to do with her teeth?
