Default I need help and fast

Around an hour ago my hamster was running around tubes and playing in her wheel and she’s only 3-4 months old but when I went to take her out of her cage to play she looked dead but her heart is racing breathing is heavy and rapid but sometimes it’s just deep breathes every 5 minutes she won’t stand walk eat drink most she does is move her head curl in a ball on her side or flop over she isn’t moving at all I tried to give her water and she coughed all of it up her whiskers keep twitching and she just won’t move all she’s been doing is laying down for the past 15 minutes on her side looking dead except for spazzing every few minutes

At the moment all you can do if you cannot see an emergency vet is to keep her very quiet and see if she comes round. Even covering the cage with a light cover to ensure it is dark can help. Some young animals can be born with an unseen defect somewhere such as a heart valve defect or a weak blood vessel in the brain which suddenly gives out and causes them to pass young suddenly. If this has happened I'm afraid a vet would be unable to do much.
