In need of some guidance

I want to first say thank you to everyone who's helped me with Luna in becoming close to her. I appreciate the support and love this community has offered her and I!

As of late Luna's health has declined greatly, I took her to the vet as soon as I noticed a lump form near her lower region, by the time I took her (3 days after I could get off work) the lump had double in size. They drained as much as they could and prescribed some medication she took for two weeks. Though they told me if she did not get better it might be the end.

That was about a month ago, the lump has gotten bigger on her lower body, towards one of her legs and one of her eyes has a faded white ring. She also a bit crusty near her tail, I do try to clean her but only with water on a q-tip as I do not want to cause any pain.

I'm sure at this point she hasn't much time but I've been giving her love and care, she's still playful but I can tell shes slowed down and is more tired then usual.

I guess my guidance from here is how is the best way to make her comfortable?

I’m very sorry to hear of the decline in your hamster’s health. It sounds as if you’ve done your best to help her, so I applaud you for working hard to keep her healthy. At this point, just make sure she has easy access to food and water, and potential medications if included in food or treats. Best of luck to you. x
