Default Sake bottle for cooling - Any opinions?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has tried a sake bottle before?

Photo attached for illustration only, that's not my hamster.

In theory, you fill the bottle with iced/ chilled water, and the ball is placed at the top of the jar to prevent the hamster from falling in.

The hamster will climb into the hole at the body of the bottle and enjoy the chilling effect there.

1. Mine's a robo so she won't have a problem with getting in and out of the hole, I'll just embed the bottle deep enough into the bedding for easy entrance.

2. The ball seems safe enough and the jar will be placed somewhere that she can't climb it at all (smooth sided bin cage area, with no climbing material nearby). I'll also think of a way to seal off the top even further just in case.

3. I don't think she's strong enough to push it over, especially as it's made of heavy glass and filled with water? No children or animals can get into the room that she's in, and it's marketed as not easy to topple over. But in the unlikely event it topples and nobody is around, she does have a platform she can climb up to keep dry while she waits for us to come home and rescue her.

4. But will this bottle be too cold for her?

5. Any other issues?

I really want to help her keep cool, and this seems like it would work well for cooling down, but I'm kinda concerned at the same time as to the safety of this thing, even if it is marketed specifically for hamsters. The weather has gone up to 95 Fahrenheit here, so I'm quite concerned.

I've never tried it but looks cool.
You could make a cooling pad like this

I've made it today and my hamsters loved it.
Used a slightly bigger one for syrian.

Thanks for the tip! I'm definitely always on the lookout for cooling tips.
