10g weight gain in 11 days normal?

We got a campbells dwarf hybrid on the 2nd July (Her name is Ruby), we were told she was roughly 9 weeks old at the time.

On July 5th she weighed in at 38g
On July 16th she weighed in at 48g

Is a 10g weight gain in 11 days normal for a dwarf hamster? She is looking kinda round.

Ruby has a large bin cage and seems pretty active on her wheel, flying saucer and playing with her toys.

When we got her she was being fed on P@H muesli but she is now eating Bunny Dwarf HamsterDream Expert like my other hamsters who i'm pretty sure grew slower than this.

Is she just being a piggy?
Is this due to the food change?
Expecting?

What do you guys think?

Could be, I haven’t had her long enough to rule that out.

I think it's 16 days for pregnancy (not 100% sure with dwarf hamsters). I always think they look round anyway lol. They do gain weight fairly rapidly in the first few weeks/months from being a baby.

Just a thought, but could her cheek pouches have been full the second time you weighed her maybe?

Pregnancy is 18-22days in dwarf hams so you need to give her 23 days with you to rule out pregnancy. I'd treat her as if she was till then. Sometimes they do gain weight quickly when away from the group where there would have been competition for food.
