Default HELPP!! i don’t want to lose my hammy

hi, so i adopted a syrian baby on april. he was perfectly fine when i bring him home. but recently (one month ago) i found out that one of his ear starts to look weird and spikey.. two weeks later same thing happen to his other ear.. i don’t know what it is and i’m scared its something serious... i would love to bring him to the exotic vet but sadly there’s none in my area or even my country.. i’m attaching photos of each of his ear (i hope its working) can you guys help me identify his illness? it is harmful? is it normal? should i be worry? what can i do to help him?? i’m beyond scared .

You need to see a vet with your hammy. I would try a local one who may be able to see what this is and give some treatment. I'm unsure what it is but it could be a skin infection of some type and worth trying some sort of treatment.

That does look strange - maybe a fungal infection. It will need vet treatment.
