Please help me!! Something wrong with hamster's mouth.
Hi, I wanted to feed my dwarf hamster today. I gave her a pumpkin seed as a treat. I gave it to her while still gripping it with my finger so she would bite one small piece at a time. I noticed that she had trouble eating it and she was slow (she usually eats everything really fast).I saw that she was chewing with what seemed to be a tooth, but examining her closer I saw that it was something growing from her mouth, just a little bigger than a tooth. I want to mention that her teeth are a normal size and they look healthy. Thinking back I saw this thing growing from her mouth a few days ago but I thought it was a tooth. I'm going to consult a vet tomorrow, but I wanted to write here as well.
What is this? Is this common and is it treatable? (I highly doubt that vets in my country would do an operation if needed ) What measures should be taken and how long will she be able to live with it? (she's 1 year old and doesn't show signs of aging)
thank you for taking the time to read this 😊

Hello. Could it be a tooth that has broken and still attached? It does sound like it needs checking out by a vet. They can get all kinds of tooth problems.

I don’t have any idea what this could be, but it sounds scary. I wish you the best of luck at the vet! ♥️

Thank you for the kind response. She had all her teeth in place when I checked her mouth as still this thing was there.
