Hamster got its pouch stuck.
My hamster got stuck between her cage floor and a toy ramp we bought for her, I did not notice for several hours, the ramp is pretty heavy and some how she got her pouch stuck and could not move, I release her and gave her lots of water, at first the side that got stuck looked deformed, stretched and flat. After she drank water she went to her house and began massaging herself, after some time she began to move more and her face looks less swollen.
I want to take her to the vet tomorrow but I live in a town where we only have one vet that handles hamsters and this is going to be her first run with a vet, and I'm not sure what to expect. Did any of you got a similar problem? What was the outcome? I would really appreciate any advice. Thanks

Re: Hamster got its pouch stuck.
A vet should definitely see her. Vet can see something we don't realize. Is there any wound or blood in the stuck area? Can you take a picture? Such collision and jamming can cause abscesses.I hope your little friend heals.
