Default Hamster poop - help!!

Hi - I’m new to the forum....

We have a female Syrian hamster (our 3rd). A few months ago her poop became very sloppy. There was no sign of illness and she was still very lively. We took her to the vet and he was quite puzzled as she seemed so healthy. He gave her a course of antibiotics. That didn’t clear it up so he suggested some probiotic in her water which we’ve been giving her.

The state of her poop has improved in that some of it looks properly formed but it is still soft and squishy.

We don’t give her any fruit or vegetables, just her normal dry food.

She drinks a lot. We wonder if this is the cause of her sloppy poop or if she is drinking a lot to replace the lost fluids from having sloppy poop??

We clear the poop out of her cage very regularly.

She is still very active and wants to be played with a lot just like she always has done.

We’re at a loss about what we can do about it. Does anyone have any experience of this or know how to clear it up? Thank you.
