Before you go on the long drive to Dawlish can you just check with the show sales manager Catherine Miles email [email protected] that there are some baby syrians booked in for sale. She should know by the Thursday before the show. Recently at most shows there have not been any for sale so best to check anyway.

Oh good point! I hope there are for you. That would be in just over two weeks - do you think that is long enough Souffle? If everything has been disinfected.

Apparently a independent pet shop a few miles away from us gets them from a breeder and that way I could wait til April so it has the full 3 weeks

That sounds positive too. The wait will make it worthwhile - do hope your little boy ca be distracted meanwhile.

I think I'd wait the extra time to be safe. If the local pet store seems good and keeps the hamsters in good conditions then that may be a better bet and easier for you to get to.
