Default Red nose and cheeks on Syrian?

Hi everyone. My hamster seems to have a red nose and some baldness on her cheeks. I don't have a wire cage, so I'm not sure what could be causing this. I looked it up and saw possibly mites could cause redness/baldness. I have watched her and she grooms/scratches herself for a good hour or two after waking up. This is my first hamster, so I'm not sure what's normal and not normal. I was told this is normal behavior, though.
I noticed that other hamsters seem to have pale pink noses, not red. After the two hours or so of grooming, she moves around the cage a lot and doesn't seem to scratch/groom. I watched her for over an hour moving about just to see what she does at night. Does anyone know what this could be? Thanks!

That looks like the sort of pattern you get from bar chewing, I know (or think!) she's in a tank cage but I would still check to see if there is anything anywhere she may have been pushing her nose into, a small hole or gap somewhere.

I said the same (bar chewing possibly) but it might be just a normal pattern for a dark hamster (have just seen SKB's photos of liquorice and she looks the same!). Darker pink/red nose and the little patches at the side.

On Liquorice it seems to be where the whiskers protrude from that it's a lighter colour.
