I couldnt tell you what cage it is id have to find it again online, but he hasn't been chewing the bars since I got this new wheel! Which is excellent. I did think he was bored when he was doing it. It turned out his wheel was too small and I didn't know about back arching, I felt so bad I ordered him a new huge wheel which didn't fit in the cage. Then a smaller one after that was still big. I then changed his cage to the bigest one I could find and just put the other wheel back in as he didn't seem to be using the other one. Hes been on it loads, I feel terrible as I was quite irrisponsible, luckily he is happy with his cage and wheel now it just sadly took a while...

The cage is fairly large, about half the length of a big radiator if that helps lol

So the bar chewing has been practicly none lately.

Hi, since I finally got a wheel thats suitable and he likes he hasnt chewed his bars, which I suspected was down to boredom

I don't know the exact size but id say its about half of a large radiator if that helps lol.

He seems fine I think, I havent seen him much as his routine is a bit all over the place after this, so trying to slowly adjust him again but ive woke up early in morning to him having a run on his wheel so know hes been active

Did you have any orange wooden chews? Or orange pellets in his food mix? Maybe some of the colour transfered off onto his bedding? Its very odd for blood to dry orange.

I’m glad he’s okay now though and hopefully he’ll adjust to his new cage soon.

No I don't hink so, he has a bright pink one but thats it... id argue the foods more of a very shallow yellow if that. He has a rope carrot but that all seems in tact...
