pink-ish urine?? possibly??
so i was out all day yesterday and my (male, syrian) hamster, Teddy was by himself. I came home late, around midnight and this is when he’s usually sleeping, before waking up around 1-2 am. I noticed that there was some dried urine on his wheel and what looked like bits of his bedding but i’m unsure. The urine was slightly pinkish but his wheel is turquoise so i couldn’t tell properly?? I was worried he had eaten some facial tissue i put in there to add to his bedding but he was up around 2am and running on his wheel and seemed fine?? so i had cleaned the wheel last night when i came home and this morning there was a little bit on it again? not as much as before though. sorry for all these questions i’m just really worried about him as i only got him a few days ago.
edit: a bit more urine was on his wheel today, but it was just a shade of yellow not pink! phew! plus, he seems to be drinking, eating and sleeping regularly. however he seems to be sleeping a bit more than usual? though it's only been a few days so i'm still studying his habits!
thanks

Re: pink-ish urine?? possibly??
Its good that his pee is back to normal - although I would just keep a close eye on his pee for a few days just to make sure nothing is wrong internally.
Sometimes certain foods such as beetroot (and a few other cant think of them at the moment) can cause pee to change colour so depending upon what he eaten colour can vary slightly
