I hope you managed to find a solution and that this is just an allergy. Keep an eye on the centre of the wound getting bigger or turning black as I am currently nursing Dora through final stages of s disease which started like this and is sadly, cutaneous cancer. Our vet wasn’t sure if it was mites or a wound at first and we could have saved Dora being unnecessarily treated for mites and with antibiotics. The condition is called mycosis fungoides but I sincerely hope your little one doesn’t have this. Still, something to be aware of.
