I'm so sorry to hear that she seems to be getting worse again now, I hope the vet can help tomorrow, let us know how you get on.

She is pooping now, might be just because i cleaned her soiled bedding before so there were no poops. There were alot of poops this morning and she seems to be eating well. Going to the vet in the evening.

The vet said that we should do a biopsy to determine the cause. She has lost 20g of weight since last week(122g to about 100g). Is there any food I can feed her to make her weight stop dropping/help her gain weight? Things like scrambled egg, etc. She doesn't really eat mealworms.

The biopsy will be a week from today. The vet will use gas anesthesia so she can get skin scrapings from the hamster.

You could try giving her baby food, just be sure to avoid any with garlic, onions, leeks, seasoning etc. Might also be worth trying her with porridge, scrambled or boiled egg, cooked plain chicken or tofu.

I hope the vet will be able to get to the bottom of it when she has the biopsy next week. Will be keeping my fingers crossed for her.

I hope all goes well with the biopsy next week & the vet can find out what's really going on & hopefully find a way to help her, fingers crossed for you.
Scrambled egg is fine for her, porridge is good too, if she'll eat nuts give her small pieces of that & some cooked chicken would be good too, just plain, no skin or seasoning on it.

Hi guys, she has gained back weight after giving her baby food. There is still no improvements on her wounds.
She went for the biopsy today and came out okay. The results will arrive after 2 weeks. For now, she is having meloxicam for a week, and baytril for 2 weeks again.

Giving her meds is harder now, I have to dip the syringe in baby food to get the syringe in her mouth. She is also less active tonight. ( might be due to waking up in the day) She isn't walking around or on her wheel but she ate some baby food just now.

What are the suggestions for feeding medication?

Good to hear she's gained some weight & seen the vet again, I hope the meds help & give her some relief while you wait for the biopsy results.
If she's eating baby food then I would mix the meds with that, just a small amount so you can be sure it all gets taken.

I agree with cypher, babyfood-about the size of a fresh pea or even try porridge (half a teaspoon) to ring the changes.
