Red, Irritated Skin Around the Eye

Once again, Libby’s eye just got bad again.
I played with him this morning and he was fine. Very active and not swelling or irritation. Then tonight, it swelled up. His right eye had a little bump under it. I guess his eye also teared up leavening water around it. This photo was after I put saline on it so you could see and it is helping keeping the swelling down.

If the saline helps bring it down I won’t worry about it. If the saline dosen’t help we will go to the vets to get eye drops. If the eye is not swelling anymore but then starts again, I get take him to the vets because I don’t want it to continue. Oh, I forgot to menshion that the bump/irritation dose not seem to be bothering him luckily. I apologize for my bad wording, I’m super tired lol!

I did mention it in your other post, missed your update here first, it would probably be a good idea to have the vet look at it & see if Libby needs some antibiotics, these eye problems in Russians do seem to be quite persistent but antibiotic drops do usually clear it up.

Okay. Thank you cypher. Will be scheduling a vet appointment soon. Poor guy, I’ve had him for four months and he has gone to the vet twice.
