HELP!! Blood in new hamsters cage
Hi I hope someone can help. I got my hamster nearly a week ago and she’s been frightened etc but fine. Eating and drinking well, getting exercise. We’ve been getting her out and when we put her away last night all fine. Today I check on her and there’s BLOOD in two corners of her cage!! I don’t know why?? I’ve not changed anything and it’s happened in the last 24hrs
Have pics but don’t know how to upload? It looks almost like a she’s gone for a wee but it’s blood not wee?

Re: HELP!! Blood in new hamsters cage
If it is blood then you need to see a vet as soon as you can, if it's in her pee then she may have a UTI which would need to be treated with antibiotics but only a vet can tell you for sure.
