I hurt my hamster by accident omg :(

she was biting the bars and i saw abit of rust or something on the bars, so i tried to scrape it off before she started chewing on it, and my nail must of caught her nose or something, she made a horrible squeel/scream type of sound OMG :'(

i kept saying to her "omg omg im sooo sorry!!" i gave her a treat

omg i feel so bad, that sound. havnt heard anything like it before

I didn't see any blood, she seems ok. She doesn't make any noises when cleaning herself, you know when they lick their hand, she obviously touches her nose then

agree with Thin Lizzy.
I also happened harm my hamster.
3-4 days after I bring them home, I try to stroke them, and I just focused at her back, didnt realize what is she doing.
When my hand touch her fur, she shocked, jump and her head hit her hiding house roof and she scream, then hide to her house and I cant see her out from that house that night anymore. even i lure her with her favourite food, bean sprout.

the other day, she was escaped from her cage and we had a tough time luring her back / grabbing her. Then my mom do the most shocked and savage thing. She grab her using tongs noddles.. While my mom is trying to pinch her, she scream all the time.
even after my mom succeed in putting her back to her cage, and i take her cage far from savage-event-place.
that happen in the morning. Whenever my mom in the same room as her, she start screaming again. maybe she can smell those savage scent. Hahhaha..

It takes just one day. weeks after those accident, which is now.
I think she has become a good teenage female, and she grow well. Better than he sibling.
