matted fur?
hi everyone, i know it's been awhile since i last posted- a lot of stuff has happened that made getting online hard! since i last posted we have a new little baby boy, a long haired syrian. he's about 5 months old. i have a small concern.
i'm not sure if i'm being overly paranoid, but i thought it was better to play it safe and ask if anyone had any input. recently the fur on the back of his head/neck has seemed sweaty and almost matted? it doesn't have knots in it and it's not particularly long, so i don't think it's just getting tangled due to length. it looks almost patchy and damp. he acts perfectly healthy otherwise, if a bit nervous/jumpy.
i tried to get some pictures but he does not like to sit still. any idea on what's up and/or if it's normal? thanks!

Re: matted fur?
Problems in that area can be caused by rubbing against the spindle in the wheel if it's not quite big enough, do you think that could be the reason?
