Bulging eyes?
My hamster, Oreo, is not even a year old. He’s never shown any signs of illness until recently I noticed that his eyes are bulging out a little more than usual and the blue rim around his eyes is more prominent and noticeable. He is still eating, drinking water, playing, and running on his wheel like always and has not acted any different but I’m worried that somethings wrong.

Re: Bulging eyes?
What species is he Lily? It's hard to tell from just the eyes.
Some dwarf species are prone to glaucoma which causes the eyes to swell due to increased pressure inside them. It can be treated with drops every day though.
Sometimes the eyes can look bulgy as well because the hammy is getting older and has lost some body bulk and this gives the impression that the eyes are bulging. If you feel there is a change it would be best to have him checked by a hamster experienced vet. You may want to mention the glaucoma if the vet is not that experienced with hammies
