Default Syrian bald patches

I'm getting a bit worried about my just over 1yr year old Syrian, Charlie.

He seems to have developed quite large bald patches around where his scent glands are. It's similar looking both sides.

Observations are he's eating, drinking, toileting and playing ok. Just those bald patches that are worrying me. Would anyone have any advice?

He may just be rubbing his scent glands a lot while marking his territory. 8f you can post a picture here, it may help people to confirm my theory.

I attach a couple of shots.

Vet said healthy apart from patches & as not particularly scratching it might be Cushing's:-/

Mikew, I am sorry that Charlie may have Cushings. I looked after my boy Mocho for a year with Cushings with vet treatment. Most vets don't know about this.
Sorry - I don't know how to post a link to a thread, but if you get back to page 19 in this healthcare section, you will find my thread 'Cushings and treatment' It may help you understand what can be done. Also the photos before and after a few weeks on treatment.

Thank you for sharing Coco & I'm sorry your ham had Cushing's.
I'm going to seek a second opinion & explore the use of Vetoryl.
