Here is the picture I just managed to take! Does everything look healthy there too?

I ditto all of Cypher's excellent advice concerning cage cleaning. Aww, your little Princess Mimi will now be referred to as Prince Mimi. You are definitely not the only one that was told by a pet store that your ham was most certainly one gender just to surprisingly find out later that it was the other gender instead. That happened to me with my Syrian Eros. She was in a male pet store with other males in a tiny cage and the owner of the store stated that she was a he. Then, on April Fool's Day, I found out that my ham was a in fact a girl all along. I also decided to not change her name as it fit her so perfectly and she chose it herself when playing a name game with me when she arrived home. Having a ham of either gender was absolutely fine with me, but it would have been nice to know that the store owner and the employees were more knowledgeable with the animals there. Luckily, she wasn't pregnant.

I will definitely tone down mimis cage cleaning a lot! I will just try and distinguishes soiled bedding which is hard for a robo as their poo is so small and they don’t wee a lot to discolour the bedding! However I will have a little sniff around to see if anywhere smells a little more than anywhere else, if so I will just replace a little bit of bedding there.
I’m glad I didn’t get 2 as mimi was in a female only cage so I couldn’t imagine if I brung Mimi back with another robo to find out mimi was male and end up with a litter on my hands with no experience!

CBB, it was sheer luck that made things turn out alright in the end. Although it would be lovely to see baby Eros's, I would never want to risk her health and wouldn't know how to best care for lots of little baby pups as I'm not a breeder. I just wish that all pet stores would take more interest in their animals and their welfare.

Emmypaige, I totally understand your fear of having your unexpected litter with no experience in breeding or pup care.

In that pic, Mimi does look like a male to me, too. However, I am not an expert on robos though so you may want to wait for another member with more experience on sexing them to confirm Mimi's gender.

Couldn’t agree more with you dreamtree! They claim to love pets but they are trained to sell the pets, not trained to have their welfare as the number 1 priority! So glad Eros is doing well and is beautiful as ever!

Looking at the photo there doesn't appear to be a problem with the gland, it's worth keeping an eye on it just in case but looks ok at the moment.
I would say you have a boy too!
