A suspected ball patch or thinning hair ??
So my hamster always had a little less hair behind his ears, but lately it looks like it’s thinning, but it’s also turning a much lighter colour almost white. Should I worry she’s still active and happy there’s no irritation I can touch it and she doesn’t care any guesses ?

Re: A suspected ball patch or thinning hair ??
How old is she? The hair is naturally thinner behind the ears & they can get some thinning of the hair as they age too, if there's no itching or any other signs it bothers her it's most likely nothing to worry about.

Re: A suspected ball patch or thinning hair ??
She’s roughly nine months, it’s not irrattated or dry she scratches herself every now and again nothing constant or persistent so you think it’s nothing too worry about ?

It doesn't sound as though you need worry if that's all it is.
