Re: Bald patch on one side
Even though she has no hair here? At first I thought it may have just looked wet (I was hopeful) but there is no hair. My partner read somewhere that she may have pulled the hair out but I didn't think she'd only do that to one scent gland. The other side has hair.
Thank you for the reassurance though. I don't want her to ever be suffering when I could do something about it.

Re: Bald patch on one side
There is often what appears to be a small bald & often wet patch around the scent gland, going by the photo you posted it does look normal but if you are still concerned that there's more of a bald patch than there should be maybe post another photo.

Re: Bald patch on one side
Ok I managed to get some close up photos, although still a little blurry.
Hope that this helps!

Re: Bald patch on one side
It is easier to see there that she does have quite a large patch, she's probably just been rubbing that side more when she's scenting things I would guess, do you see her rubbing against things much?
I would just keep an eye on it for now, as long as it doesn't get any worse.

Re: Bald patch on one side
Yes she has started rubbing herself more often now. I’m not sure if she rubs that side more though but I guess it’s possible. Thank you for your advice. I will monitor her closely and see what happens.
