Exclamation Hamster has yellow stuff on her bum?

Hamster info:
Helmi, soon 1 yo, female, syrian

I think yesterday I noticed that Helmi had some yellow stuff around her bum. I cleaned it, but today she had the stuff on her bum again. She is acting normal, maby a little more sleepy and clam. Her fur has also gotten a little scruffy.
We don't have an exotic vet near so I wouldn't want to drag her on a long car trip, if its something that can be easyally sorted like not feeding her veggies.
So it would be nice if someone could help.

This isn't normal so I think it would be far better to risk stressing her & get her seen by a vet as soon as you can.
Giving too much veg too soon can cause their poo to be softer than usual but it wouldn't cause anything like what you seem to be describing so I don't think this is something you can deal with yourself.
Being sleepy & calmer or less active generally could be a sign of illness too.

^I agree with what cypher said. Being a first time hamster owner I really shouldn't say or comment... but as someone who use to work in an animal hospital and has seen sick small rodents... yellow poop is a sure sign of stress / illness.
Risk the drive. Better safe than sorry.

Females Syrian do get a little discharge when they are in heat. If you are noticing a lot of discharge and you are seeing it every day then it would be best to take her to the vets as she might have an open pyometra to receive treatment.
