Hamster making clicking noise

I got my male Syrian hamster yesterday and I’ve noticed that it makes these strange clicking noise. It only does it occasionally and it does it in its hideout and in the open while doing nothing.It doesn’t seem to show any other signs of illnesses and it looks healthy. My sister has a cold and I’ve made sure she doesn’t go close to the hamster but she has been in the same room. I’m not sure if it’s normal for hamsters do do this or it’s just my hamster.

It's probably just normal hamster noises, it's not unusual for them to click like that so most likely nothing to worry about as long as he seems fine otherwise, eating, drinking & active.

My hamster Winter used to do that too, usually when I gave her a treat of some sort. Your hamster will be fine.
