Default claws

my hybrid hamsters claws are getting quite long and i really don't want to cut want to cut them are there any ways to keep them worn down whithout cutting them?

Try giving him a sanitized large rock to stand on and walk on, or try getting the granite slab from Rodipet or the special slab from Getzoo that comes with a few homes. Anything rough to walk on, I think.

Once they get overgrown they will need trimming as nothing will really shorten them but as preventative measures go there are few things that can help, the sand bath should help, you can use small terracotta flower pots laid on the side in the cage, put a little substrate in & hide food or the occasional treat in there so she will dig around in it, tiles either granite or ordinary kitchen tiles laid upside down in an area where she will walk over it frequently can help a bit too.

thanks just got a pot and she's really cuirious she was climbing all over it i think it will do a good job at wearing down her claws
