Default Pouched salted pumpkin seed!

I was on my bed with my hamster and I was taking the shell off a pumpkin seed for him because the ones I have are salted outside, and I didn't want it to irritate his mouth
But while I was doing this my ham was so sneaky to steal one with the shell still on and pouched it, now I'm scared it might cause some irritation if he doesn't unpouch it soon..am I just paranoid? What should I do? It never happened to me that a hamster would pouch something potentially dangerous

I doubt a single pumpkin seed will have done much harm & he'll probably have depouched it soon enough.
In future just don't give your ham anything that's been salted, even if you think you've removed all the salt you won't have. Plain unsalted pumpkin seeds should be easy to come by.
They can & will pouch all sorts of things so whenever your ham is out of the cage make sure the entire area he can access is free of any risky items however unlikely they may seem.
