Default Help please

Hello everyone, recently Hamtaro condition has gotten me worried. He has been sleeping most of the time and his breathing looks labored, he would stay in one spot out in the open (or where i put him) which is unlike him and not move for a while. I want to take him to the vet but the vets in the New York, Bronx area is expensive or they don't take care of exotics. If you guys have any advice or any good affordable doctors please let me know. We're trying to find a vet in the low price range but so far its not possible and i want to know what is wrong with him. Thank you.

How old is Hamtaro? Has he had many medical problems before?

I hope you are able to find a vet soon and tell Hamtaro I hope he gets better soon.

Thank you, He's 14 months and sort of but we can never find a vet. He's basically shivering when he sits still and i haven't seen him drink or eat much. We are trying to find one in the $10-20 price range, maybe hes eating from his horde or the dog chew. I'm worried seeing him like this.

I feel sorry for what you have been through.

A vet visit costed me $73 CAD =$55 USD... I doubt there’s decent service could be around $10-$20 in the US...

Either you raise up your cost expectancy or google everywhere online(check not just hamster, but other similar rodents), or watch closely to see more obvious symptoms to diagnose by searching online.
