Exclamation Keeping my hamsters warm

Hi!
I have two winter White hamsters housed in separate cages. My boiler has decided to die and now the house is freezing all over, i don't know what I can do to keep my girls warm for the night? My grandmother is going to mind them in her lovely warm home tomorrow until we get a new boiler here. But the temp is already at freezing point and I'm worried

Thank you in advance 💙

Do you have a small fan heater or anything you can use to take the chill off? If not try filling either hot water bottles and wrapping them in towels and then place them near the cage but not touching it. You could make a little tent with some blankets to keep the warm air in. Give them loads and loads of tissue bedding and plenty of food. A cardboard box can help keep the head in the nest too.
