Unhappy Hamster escaped

I have a female Syrian hamster and last night she escaped from her cage. It is normally very secure but the lid was left agar and she got out. She was out for a least 3 hours before we noticed (we were gone) and found her. She had a wooden chuck that she spit out if her cheek pouch and I checked the rest of her cage a bit afterward to make sure there was no other foreign objects. I'm still afraid she has ate something since she's now been acting odd. She seemed frozen for awhile last night and this morning she was aware and eating but still seemed out if it. Do you think this is just her distressing from the ordeal or something bigger I should get checked out? I appreciate any advice

All you can do really is keep a close eye on her & see how she goes, she may just be a b it stressed by it all but keep checking on her just in case, if she's just stressed she should settle again in a day or two I would think.

Thank you for the response. I was super worried about her all day but she's seems to be back to her old self. I'll keep an eye for the next few days just in case!

I totally agree with what Cypher said. She is probably fine but stressed over what had happened previously. Keep an eye on her and hopefully she will be back to her usual self again very soon.
